Security and privacy
Security and privacy, explained clearly.
Understand what AMI measures, who can access the information and what happens to it. These are useful questions to resolve before your team connects its tools.
What AMI measures
Public answers from AI systems to buying questions in your market, phrased as a buyer would ask them. Klusio asks those questions without inserting your brand name and stores the answer, date, system and cited sources. It also reads public pages on your website and pages cited by the AI systems.
What AMI does not measure
AMI does not follow individual people, read your customers’ private conversations with AI or collect their email addresses as part of its visibility measurements. If you connect Google Analytics, AMI reads totals by page and source, rather than individual people’s sessions.
Storage and processing
Stored measurements, reports and settings are held on our own server within the EU. Producing measurements uses external services. Those services process the questions and information needed for their task. Information may also be shared with the channels you connect, such as Slack, Teams, Sheets, Looker or your own AI assistant through MCP. The privacy policy explains the processing parties and international transfers.
Who can access the information
Access depends on your account and the permissions you grant.
- Your team
- Each user has their own login, with device confirmation.
- Your clients
- In the Agency plan, a client can access only their own project.
- People with a report link
- Recipients can view the shared report while its link is valid. You can revoke a link.
- Your AI assistant
- MCP access is limited by the authorised tools and permissions. Some Klusio tools can make changes when explicitly authorised. Connecting an assistant does not grant unrestricted permission to publish, change settings or order services.
- Klusio
- Access for administration and support. Your information is not used for Klusio’s own marketing.
Retention
Measurements are kept while your account exists so you can follow trends. Saved AI answers remain unchanged. Shared links expire on the date you choose. After cancellation, your information is deleted within thirty days of the end of the subscription, unless you request earlier deletion.
Data processing agreement
A data processing agreement is available on request, together with an overview of the parties involved in measurement and hosting. Email support@klusio.nl with your procurement or IT questions.
Changes
If there is a material change to what AMI measures or where information is held, it is announced in your account and in the report email before it takes effect.
