Website code and API

Connect the work your website can support.

Adding a script, reading measurements and publishing an article are different integrations. Start with the task you want to perform, then establish the supported route, access and verification for your website.

Separate measurement, chat and publication

A script on your website does not automatically give Klusio permission to publish content. Each connection has its own purpose and setup.

Measurement
Website code can support the configured measurements. Google data still requires the appropriate Google connections and access.
Chatbot
The chatbot needs its own installation, business knowledge, appearance settings and response arrangements. Installing it does not authorise changes to website pages.
Article publication
WordPress and Wix have maintained publishing routes. Custom websites require a suitable API or an agreed implementation by your developer.

Agree what the integration may change

Your CMS, available endpoints and permissions determine the supported operations. Define the exact content types and fields before enabling changes. A custom integration is not unrestricted access to your website.

Content and fields
Check how the CMS stores articles, titles, body content, images and SEO fields. Agree which fields the connection can read and write.
Stable article references
Keep the relationship with the existing CMS item so an update reaches the intended article. An unclear response should not automatically create another item.
Your design and infrastructure
Preserve templates, forms and unrelated content. Theme changes, hosting and server administration require separate agreement.

Test a limited task before recurring work

Use an agreed test to check access, the saved content, status and appearance. Establish who handles technical problems before recurring work starts. Changes to your CMS, theme or security may require another check. A successful API response alone does not prove that the intended content is publicly visible.

Prepare access securely
Use the designated connection settings. Keep passwords and API keys out of email briefs, article text and public documents. Revoke access when it is no longer needed.
Check the result
Review the correct item and URL, headings, images, links and mobile appearance. Distinguish a draft, a saved item and a confirmed live publication.
Handle failures precisely
Identify the failed operation and preserve a record of the item. Correct a missing image or field without blindly repeating the whole publication.

Questions and answers

Can my developer use the Klusio API?

A custom website can use an agreed API integration, including retrieving published articles and supporting the required view tracking. Available endpoints, access and responsibilities must be checked for the implementation.

Does installing the chatbot enable publishing?

No. Chatbot installation and content publication are separate tasks with separate permissions.

What if my website cannot accept automatic edits?

Klusio can prepare a developer brief with the selected change, current and proposed content, placement and checks. Your developer remains responsible for implementation.

Can Klusio change every page layout?

No. Layout and content support depend on the CMS and page structure. Agree supported changes in advance and keep unrelated components unchanged.

Does automatic publishing work on every CMS?

No. It depends on the available API, permissions, content structure and supported Klusio integration. Confirm the actual operations before enabling them.
