Frequently asked questions

What would you like to know?

Understand what Klusio does, which decisions remain yours and what the measurements can tell you.

Getting started

What does Klusio do?

Klusio investigates opportunities to improve your visibility and can carry out much of the work. The Growth Engine weighs findings from your website, Google, AI assistants, relevant competitors, technical checks and authority. It can prepare new content, improve existing pages, publish and measure again. External publications, profile changes and other actions that cannot safely proceed on their own still require your decision.

How do I get started?

Start with a free growth scan, a demo or the 48-hour free start. The free-start introduction, first analysis and trial emails are available in English. Onboarding covers your services, customers, regions, writing style and important competitors. Your website and Google Search Console are connected where supported. Klusio then builds the initial plan and baseline. Articles are currently produced in Dutch; other account tools remain in Dutch.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. Klusio guides setup and the main connections. You do need to authorise access to the required systems, such as your website and Search Console. You remain the source for company-specific facts that cannot be checked publicly.

What information do I need to provide?

Your actual services, target audience, service area, contact details and website. Practical examples, certifications, working methods, photos, common customer questions and writing preferences help make content more specific. Klusio should use those facts as evidence rather than invent missing company information.

Growth Engine and publishing

How does the Growth Engine choose a topic?

It compares feasible opportunities by business relevance, expected value, reliability of the evidence, timeliness and overlap with existing or planned content. You can emphasise a balanced approach, Google, AI or competitor opportunities. Search volume on its own is not enough to justify a topic.

Does Klusio only write new blog posts?

No. Depending on the opportunity, it may prepare a new page or article, refresh content, improve internal links or prepare an indexing, technical, review, competitor or authority task. Some findings cannot be fixed automatically on the live website. The dashboard therefore separates completed work from proposals and actions waiting for permission.

How often does Klusio improve my website?

Groei Start provides one improvement a week; Groei Pro provides two a week; Groei Marktleider works on an improvement each working day. Klusio Partner adds personal growth management. The Growth Engine chooses the type of work: a new article, a stronger existing article or page, or a repair. Research, measurements, evaluating opportunities and skipped actions do not count as completed improvements. Execution requires a suitable authorised website connection and the necessary permissions. A proposal waiting for approval is not live. Google decides whether and when a page is indexed.

Can I approve content before publication?

Yes. Choose whether suitable publications may go live automatically or must first be prepared as drafts. Actions Klusio is not authorised to carry out independently, including certain external publications and profile changes, still require a decision. The growth guarantee applies only to full autopilot on the eligible plans, not to an approval-first workflow.

Can I change the content plan?

Yes. View, add, move, skip or remove future topics in the planner. Those changes affect future work; they do not automatically remove content already published on your website.

How does Klusio reduce generic AI writing and invented claims?

Your company profile, website, services, writing style and sources inform the draft. Before publication, checks cover business relevance, repetition, readability, content quality and uncertain claims. Automated checks reduce risk but cannot guarantee error-free text. Keep your company information current and use prior approval when you want to review the text yourself.

Does Google allow AI-generated content?

Using AI is not itself a prohibition. Content must be useful, accurate and comply with Google’s Search Essentials and spam policies. Google recommends checking generated content before publication, including titles, descriptions and other metadata. Klusio checks articles against your company information and sources; uncertain claims, prices and figures need support. Automated checks reduce risk but do not guarantee error-free text. Enable prior approval if you want to review each article before it goes live.

Google, AI and your market

How quickly will I see results in Google?

There is no fixed timeframe. Google may pick up a new or updated page within days, while indexing, rankings and traffic may take weeks or longer. The website, market, competition and quality of the page all matter. Klusio starts from a baseline and does not promise a ranking or number of enquiries within a fixed period.

What does the 30-day growth guarantee cover?

The growth guarantee is available only on Groei Marktleider and Klusio Partner with Klusio running fully on autopilot. It does not apply to Groei Start, Groei Pro, self-managed execution or a workflow requiring approval before publication. Full automatic execution and publication must remain enabled during the measurement period, within the agreed permissions.

Day one is the first successful Klusio publication on your website. The following 30 days are compared with the preceding 30 full calendar days. Only an increase in organic Search Console impressions or clicks counts. If neither is higher and the conditions are met, the first paid month’s subscription fee is refunded. The final assessment normally follows within three days after day 30 because Search Console data is delayed.

Revenue, enquiries, rankings, indexing and AI mentions do not qualify as substitute measures. Advertising, add-ons and usage charges are excluded.

Does Google automatically index every publication?

No. Klusio can check whether a URL is live and reachable, support an indexing request and check again later. Google decides whether and when to index a page. A redirect, noindex instruction, incorrect canonical or page with little independent value must not be reported as successful indexing.

What does AI visibility mean in Klusio?

At recorded measurement times, Klusio submits relevant questions to supported AI assistants and records whether your brand or competitors are mentioned or cited. These are snapshots of a managed question set, not all possible questions or personalised answers. Tracked question limits are Groei Start: 10; Groei Pro: 20; Groei Marktleider: 40; Klusio Partner: 60.

How many keywords can I add myself?

The limits for manually added Google keywords are Groei Start: 50; Groei Pro: 100; Groei Marktleider: 250; Klusio Partner: 500. Keywords added by Klusio do not use that allowance. Your account shows the available upgrade when you reach your limit.

Can Klusio guarantee a mention in ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity?

No. Klusio can improve the usefulness of your website content, evidence, reviews and authority signals, and measure changes. Search engines and AI systems choose the answers and sources they show. Results can differ by time, user and wording.

Can I choose which competitors count?

Yes. Select actual business competitors and exclude domains in competitor analysis. Information sources and platforms may appear in search results, but should not automatically generate competitor opportunities as though they sell the same service. The Growth Engine uses your selected competitors when you choose that focus.

Chatbot and enquiries

What does the AI Lead-Chatbot do?

It answers website questions using configured company knowledge and can capture and forward contact details or enquiries. Read conversations and recorded enquiries in your dashboard. It does not replace a qualified professional for legal, medical, financial or other high-stakes advice.

Which plan includes the chatbot?

It is included from Groei Pro. On Groei Start it is optional at €79 per month excluding VAT. Check the pricing page for the current plan contents.

What happens if I run out of AI credits?

Without available monthly or additional credits, new AI replies cannot be generated. Depending on your widget settings, fixed contact options or standard replies may remain available; they are not a full AI conversation. Your account shows your balance and options for extra credits or automatic top-up. Usage depends on the length and content of a conversation.

Does the chatbot guarantee extra leads?

No. Conversations and enquiries depend on website traffic, the offer, availability, settings and visitors. Klusio records activity but does not promise a conversion rate or lead count. There is no commission per recorded enquiry.

Plans and agreements

Which plans are available?

Groei Start: €199 per month; Groei Pro: €399 per month; Groei Marktleider: €699 per month; Klusio Partner: €1,499 per month. Prices exclude VAT. Plans differ in improvement rhythm, services and regions covered, tracked AI questions and keywords, market coverage, chatbot, LinkedIn and personal support. Consult the pricing page for the full comparison.

Are there costs beyond the subscription?

There is no separate setup fee. The optional chatbot on Groei Start costs €79 per month. Porthos for LinkedIn is optional on Start and Pro at €50 per month and included from Groei Marktleider. Additional AI credits may be needed if you exceed your available balance. Check current prices and inclusions before ordering; ad spend and separately activated services are not automatically included.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

An upgrade can take effect immediately with a prorated price difference. A downgrade takes effect at the next billing period. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled with at least seven days’ notice before the next invoice date. Annual payment covers a prepaid twelve-month term; cancellation stops renewal at its end. Remaining months are not refunded except where required by law, an applicable guarantee or a separate written agreement.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Try Klusio for 48 hours without payment details or automatic renewal. If you let Klusio execute, the trial includes up to 1 trial article, subject to a suitable connection and permission to publish. Results remain visible afterwards. This is not a 30-day free trial. The separate growth guarantee is available only from Groei Marktleider with full autopilot under its conditions.

What happens when I stop using Klusio?

Content already published on your own website stays there. Automatic planning, publishing, monitoring and optimisation stop. Your Search Console data remains in your Google account. Retention and deletion of account and personal data follow the privacy policy and terms.

Website connections, ownership and privacy

Which websites can Klusio publish to?

Klusio supports direct WordPress and Wix publishing. For other websites, a supported integration or a developer-built API connection can deliver articles in your own design, with a small view-measurement script where applicable. Capabilities and permissions are checked for your site before promising what can be published or changed. The chatbot can be installed on most websites with an embed script.

What can Klusio change without asking me each time?

That depends on the integration and your settings. Suitable publications can go live automatically or wait as drafts. A finding is not an executed change: proposed, approved, applied and live-verified work are separate states. External outreach, paid placements and sensitive profile changes must not happen without the required permission.

Who owns the published content and measurement data?

Content published on your own website stays yours. Search Console remains your Google source. Klusio uses connected data to deliver the service and measure results. Roles, retention and rights are described in the privacy policy and, for customer chatbot data, the data processing agreement.

How is chatbot data handled?

For a chatbot on a Klusio customer’s website, that customer is the data controller and Klusio is the processor. Data is transferred over encrypted connections. Conversations are not end-to-end encrypted because Klusio must process their content to provide the service. Visitors should first contact the business whose chatbot they used for access or deletion requests.
