Merkenbureau Van Asselt

Making a trademark firm’s knowledge easier to find.

Gilbert van Asselt helps entrepreneurs protect their brands. That expertise was already there, but his website attracted little traffic. The case records 32,500 Google impressions from 25 June to 23 August 2026, alongside Gilbert’s experience of receiving website enquiries.

The expertise existed. The website played little part.

Trademark searches, registration in the Benelux and Europe, and monitoring a registered trademark are part of Gilbert’s work. The original case describes how people researching those subjects often found large platforms and competitors first.

There was little organic traffic, limited online explanation of the firm’s expertise and no clear view of the questions people asked before contacting a trademark firm. Klusio developed information around registration, costs and protection on Van Asselt’s own website.

What Klusio worked on

Customer questions, publications and follow-up form a continuous process. The measured results below show search activity over a defined period; they do not isolate the effect of each individual action.

1. Turn the service into concrete questions
Registration, costs, protection and the application process became questions a prospective client would want answered.
2. Put the firm’s knowledge on its website
Explain the question and where professional guidance adds value. Content is published on the business’s own domain and remains there.
3. Follow recorded search activity
Use Search Console to see which content appears and receives clicks. Keep the separate report shown below distinct from the main search totals.
4. Continue advising after setup
Use the evidence to guide subsequent publications and improvements. Gilbert specifically mentions the ongoing advice in his statement.

The Google figures, with their measurement period

Google Search Console records 32,500 impressions and 77 organic clicks from 25 June to 23 August 2026. An impression is an appearance in a search result; a click is a click through to the website. These figures do not tell us how many different people visited or contacted the firm.

No comparison period is supplied for a percentage-growth calculation. This case therefore shows the absolute figures. The original report’s average click-through rate is 0.2% and its average position is 27.3, indicating that the work was still developing across the measured questions.

This is a description of that saved report. It is separate from the ordinary search figures above, is not added to them and is not a count of ChatGPT or Perplexity recommendations, visitors or enquiries. Availability and reporting interfaces may change.

Gilbert’s experience of the collaboration

The following is the customer’s own account. The statement about enquiries is not a separate conversion measurement by Klusio.

Previously, we received hardly any traffic through our website. Since we started using Klusio, our online visibility has clearly increased and we regularly receive enquiries through the website. Another thing I really appreciate about Klusio is the proactive thinking, and the advice and further improvements provided after getting started. For us, Klusio has brought a clear improvement in our online visibility.

What the evidence establishes

The source is the firm’s Search Console report and Gilbert’s customer statement. Ordinary search activity covers 25 June to 23 August 2026; the separate saved AI-labelled report has its own three-month selector and visible chart dates.

There is no percentage comparison without a baseline. Impressions, clicks and a customer’s description of enquiries are different kinds of evidence. Results depend on the website, market, starting point and measurement period. This case does not establish a conversion rate or guarantee the same outcome for another firm.
